There are adults on here, right? There's something I want to test. You heard probably got told by that Luci guy that there's no way to leave, right? Obviously, if a kid's going to buy airplane tickets it's going to raise some suspicions, but you guys are adults, right? So, I need some tickets booked: If we can get more than one person on this it would be ideal. But here are the flights I'd suggest getting booked:

BAL356
BBH1767
MCS444
OBS1615

These flights are open, appear to have a long history of working on time, and are all fast enough that if there really is nothing going on, you can be back before the day's over. All four of them will be leaving on Thursday.

If there's really nothing going on, then at least one should get through.

Seriously though, thanks for the help. The sooner we can verify whether Luci is making things up, the better, but I wanted to try to minimize the effect random chance has, so it took a few days to figure something out.</font<

Well, I went on family trips when I was a lot younger. [...More like frequent doctor visits because no one here could help her, but. Well.] Never a problem then. Don't think there would be one now.

I can't believe this shit, my flight actually got canceled!

It's not like the entire airport's shut down, so the other three should be fine since they go through different terminals and are different airlines. That strike really came out of nowhere, didn't it? At the very least, I don't remember hearing about it last night. And it's already managed to almost completely shut down one of the airlines...

[It's not even 6 yet, and they've already canceled the flight? Really?]

Just... try to avoid making too much of a scene, okay? If there really is some conspiracy to keep people from leaving the city, it's probably best not to stand out too much.

Saying I got family to visit, and such.

They're not being rude, apologizing and all, so no one's really too mad. Guess you can't help it with these kind of situations.

I'm gonna look like a bitch for being the only one complaining but we'll see.

[After a while:]

They made me a coffee and offered to pay for a taxi back home but when I asked for another flight, they said they can't promise or prepare any right now.

Honestly, I'd like to chalk it up to bad luck. Just a great coincidence.

Or, this Luci guy is pretty powerful, and shut down a whole airline to fuck with me.

That's some impressive customer service, yeah.

Still, I'm going to keep watching the other flights. We'll see how things go, and hopefully we can get some other people helping out here.
