That is meant to be read in a complimentary manner. I rather dislike ignorance. Come, dear, let us share the riddle together.

As a question of morality, even "do nothing" or "do something illegal" can be split into the overarching scale of "how far would you go for your friend". Perhaps even "how much does your loyalty weigh"? In my opinion, in a city that thinks there is the death penalty for shopping, do you think their legal system would even allow a lawyer to stand their ground? By our standards, the question becomes "how likely is someone guilty of first degree murder to get marked innocent"?

I also find the disparity worth contemplating. Ten is what you answered without thinking, but three is what you would answer of your own free will. In either case, you stand up for your friend. However in one, you see the sacrifice as another for their freedom as equivalent to finding someone whose job is to fight for their freedom, even if it reflects badly on the lawyer.

Why would this program pick one over the other?
