Telepathic message, during the Awakened battle
We're not getting anywhere. These things aren't the real threat, and they're only going to keep coming.
Second round, pay attention.
If your username had a wheel, immediately look for people who are murdering these things with apparent experience. Keep finding more of them. Make sure a group can keep you safe. Stay away from the lockers.
If you had a pair of blades, find the people being most targeted and defend them. If these things get rid of us Navigators, you'll die easily.
Do that immediately.
And for everyone... We need to lure the true form of our enemy out. These rats are just meant to exhaust us.
If we can find a way to a larger area like the gymnasium, we should set up bait. Since these things want Navigators so badly, some of us should be what sets the trap.
[There's the sound of a mental sigh that whispers through everyone's minds.]
Unless anyone has any better ideas...

There was some method to achieve this type of communication, and Heiji just hadn't figured it out yet, regardless, all this talking and fighting was giving him a headache. ]
You idiots are annoyin'!
How many separate debates are ya gonna have at a time like this? If ya still need a 'navigator', I can step in.
[ Heiji hadn't actually come to terms with it, not fully, but he was willing to do whatever it took to put an end to this ordeal. As fictitious as it was... ]
Healin' is preferred, correct? I have that...spell...
[ Not that he'd be able to use it until he was under pressure again, anyway (unbeknownst to him). ]

They're humans. Of course they're idiots.
We cannot afford to put too many Navigators into the trap. Some of us need to be a part of the outside jaws a well.

Obviously, the first group (and of course the second) never focused on any team building exercises, else this problem wouldn't have blown out of proportion the way it did. ]
The objective is ta lure the true threat. [ Again, whatever that was. ] With as few volunteers as possible, and whatever safety measures are set in place fer the lure.
What methods are in place ta subdue the threat?
[ He's trying to be calm about this. He really is. ]

Unless we keep on fighting over the methods.
[ There's a pause and a sense of satisfaction and heat before the voice comes back. ]
I haven't been using my spells and I think there are a few like me. That plus Combatants can bring serious harm to it. We just need the others to focus.

Still with the spells, and still Heiji doesn't agree with them either. He's strictly observing this from a logical standpoint, free of the distractions that he himself personally disagreed with. (At least for now.) ]
So not only do the volunteers need ta appear vulnerable, but so does everyone else? It would be easier to draw the remainder groups into closer quarters. One or two specifically set ta handle the distractions, [ rats ] and the rest fer the threat at hand.
Those with and without stamina should be spread amongst each other so no group wears out more quickly than the other ta avoid unnecessary injury.

[ There is a moment and a loud snort from ankh at the arguing from others. ]
This ends now. [ And he launches his own response to everything. ]

Heiji had so many reserves. ]
That would only work if I myself am not targeted.
[ And he healed in the first place, but details. ]

[ One thing to think about. ]
The body count still seems unreasonably high even with the advantage against us.
[ Meaning either they were still risking a lot, or the threat might be detered from showing altogether. ]
These are odds everyone agrees with?

No sense in appealin' it.
[ Especially with that latest telepathy signal deciding the course of action based on the discussions recently held. ]
What's the rendezvous point?
[
And Heiji will have to rely on instinct if he truly didn't want them to die. Good thing he doesn't.]
