Telepathic Message, during Boss Battle: SCAN Results!

[As the first volley of attacks is set off against the true threat, the Awakened's trap sprung, Chikusa immediately does a scan of the creature. As his mind takes in the result, he broadcasts it in the same patient dull voice as ever- hopefully cutting through all the alarmed chatter of their shared minds.]

Low magical ability. Middling health.

Rat Eyes is weak to Fire, Nuclear, and Light.

It will absorb Dark and Physical elements. Stop that.

[Not that he thinks anyone set off a Dark spell.... But in this chaos, who can tell? After a split second pause, barely noticeable, he adds-]

Lightning does nothing to it.

[It shouldn't need to be said, but he has no faith in some of you people, honestly.]

It has a Dark-Lightning attack of medium strength.... And that's all I've been able to pick up from it so far.

...No.... Its Arcana is "La Faim"...? ...I don't know what that means...


[OOC: A telepathic message during the Many Eyes Boss Battle! Fun fact, the boss's name is "Le Rat Aux Milles Yeux", but Chikusa thinks that's a dumb name and French can fuck off, so.

If you're confused or need any help, don't hesitate to ask. This is everyone's first boss battle in the game, so it's going to be a little rough, and that's okay.]

[ And here comes some tactics by way of Ankh. Remember this bird? He's still perched high, able to see the fighting groups until someone or something manages to knock him off of there. ]

Those who use mainly Dark or Physical fall back to defend or help those that are struggling. I would suggest to stick to blocking or deflecting attacks away from those that can make a dent.

Fire and Light try to concentrate your attacks together. We want to keep it off its feet and away from setting off any of its attacks. If we can continue to smash it, do so.

Anyone that's hurt move back let the healers work on you. Those that can fight, fight. The rest of us defend, distract and keep it off-balance while we build our spells up. Okay?

It's a good idea to keep track of who can cast what, to know who to best protect.

I think I know what it means. I think "La Faim" is Kalosian for "The Hunger". Though I don't know what that has anything to do with the battle.

And not to worry, I'm using a light spell as we speak. Though since you said it's weak to Nuclear, can I guess that something will happen to any Psy spells?

[It's even worst since he somehow helped on increasing a certain someone's Psy spell.]

'Arcana' must affect something, but I'm not sure what...

If it follows the same pattern as Light and Dark, then it will probably end up absorbed as well. But I can't confirm that for sure without doing another Scan.

Well, for now, I should avoid using Psy until we get a clearer vision of what to expect.

Also, I feel this one of the questions we're going to ask to Lucy once this is over with.
