I thought I should tell you guys it's possible to unawaken. My "dad" was one of us, but for the past week he hasn't been acting like it. He's back to being convinced I'm really his son and doesn't even see the app anymore. I don't know what happened, but I can't snap him out of it.

Have you seen anyone else just suddenly forget everything again?

It just happened to Hattori-kun, too.

[Which, aside from the upset accompanied from losing him, is more than a little awkward. In Unawakened state he believes Ran is his girlfriend, which she is not prepared to contend with.]

It's never happened before?

It might not be the first time.

[He at least already knew it was possible for people to start awakening and not fully get there. He knew someone who should have awakened when he did, but didn't.]

I just don't remember seeing anyone post anything before.

Luci mentioned that there have been people -- a lot of people -- before us. Probably it happened to them and we just don't know.

Maybe they're the people still here.

[What an awful thought -- though still better than the idea that they were killed by the Shadows.]

We don't know how many people like us there are.

I wonder if Luci would be able to tell us that. It seems like it would be something good to know. Maybe there's even something we could do.

[Except Kidou had never really been Fubuki's brother, had he? Before coming to live together in Eddan, they'd only ever been friends who shared a team and a goal. Now it's like none of that ever happened. Kidou isn't Kidou anymore. He's Michi. And he doesn't remember Raimon or Teikoku let alone the shadows they'd fought side-by-side to destroy at their school.]

Kidou doesn't remember anything. And I think Sakuma and Genda are the same way, too. They're just Michi, Yoshio, and Christopher now.

[He was alone. Really alone now...]

[Man, that's a lot, and they're all people he knows so he should have noticed sooner. But then, they're all people he had more contact with before awakening than after... It's hard to see it when everyone's pretending to be relatively normal in their daily life.]

Kidou, huh... That's surprising.

[Particularly considering how vocal he'd been on the network, even not that long ago.]

I don't really know. One day he was just...different. I think Luci said something before about it happening. He said hearts folded.

I guess...maybe it was too much.

[But then, why hadn't his own heart given out? Fubuki doesn't understand.

And for that to happen to someone's own father...or the person that was their father. He can't imagine how awkward that must be. Or why it has to be this way for any of them at all in the first place. It's so much harder than it needs to be...]

At least they're safer this way. Right?

Be careful talking about this stuff around them. If they don't remember anymore, they might think something's wrong with you.

[It's a bit odd saying that, considering he barely even knows who Fubuki is, aside from Kidou's "brother", but much as he's inclined to be a loner... They really are in the same boat...]

[They don't know each other, that's true. But they know that they're in the same boat, in more ways than one. Fubuki trusts in that above all else, and it's that trust that lets him be so open.]

I usually run the track after school.

[And whenever else he can get away from the house, to tell the truth. Although lately he's been trying to fit in more time on the soccer field, too.]

If you ever need to find me, that's probably where I'll be.

Well some of you woke up again! ...but that was after everyone failed. So I'm not sure. Usually everything gets reset from what I remember...

Does reset just mean everyone forgetting again, or something more than that?

Your father was an Awakened, yet he ended up sleeping?

Remember how awkward that conference you called him in for was?

Yes, I remember. I haven't Awakened at that time, so I thought you were somehow bullied or affected by those murders when I organized the conference. Guess I can safe to say that wasn't the case now.

But if that's true, then there might be a chance for us to forget everything and those creatures with us.
