it's one day after getting the app, and mako did what he said he would: he took his phone over to an IT guy to get it checked, only to be met with a strange look.

"I don't know what app you're talking about."

needless to say, mako is frustrated as hell. (yoshio and minako may notice him pacing the floor angrily at home.) but he said he'd keep everyone posted, so...here it is. a psa utilizing some of the fancy features the app has to offer. ]

he told me he didn't know what i was talking about? to him, my phone looked completely fine.
so i tried to pull up the app but it shut down and disappeared. completely.

yeah. don't ask me how that happened because i have no idea either.

they weren't lying when they said that this app was private.

Sorry, I was being maybe a little sarcastic.

I agree we *probably* won't die, but the whole thing is still really creepy. How does an app do this kind of thing anyway? We need to find someone using this thing who actually knows software.

there's gotta be some higher level of security we're missing. the developer(s) somehow knew to turn off the app when i went to the IT guy. maybe they've hacked into our cameras?

It's fine. Tone is difficult to transfer to text.

In that case.... Why go through all that effort? I can't speak for anyone else, but my life isn't exactly interesting. I can't even drink alcohol yet.

i mean, it's all just kind of happening at once and i don't have a good feeling about this.

i can't say for sure, but...
the question they asked had to do with justice
the app popped up not long after the murders started happening again
some of the things in the tos were kind of alarming

this is all just guesswork though, don't quote me on anything.

All we have is guesswork and the creepy things they wrote in their TOS.
They can't be trying to start up some sort of vigilante group to solve the murders or something, right? If their focus was on justice so much.

....Unless the murders were that justice, but that's asinine. One of the recent victims was a *cooking teacher*.

No, they didn't. I wouldn't think it weird, but... Luci sounds like a normal name. It doesn't match the pattern I've seen so far at all.

Vassago, Astaroth, Marchosias, Eligor, Baalberith, Camio, Dantalion... and then Luci?

Maybe I'm just looking too much into it. It's easy to make something out of nothing when you just want answers.

It's one thing to be confident or glib over this sort of thing happening. They're definitely not the first.

But... it's definitely different. Until proven otherwise, I think we can safely assume they're an admin.
