7 DAYS REMAIN
Seven days remain. As the last day of the festival draws to a close, the only thing of interest to note for the week is how great everything has gone. Not a single attack has been reported...
But things have already been set alight inside the hearts of those chosen few who have received the app on their phones. For some, it's just the first bite of the apple. For others, it's been like shaking down an entire tree. Things are beginning to look...strange. Surely there are more burning questions on their minds by now.
The warning bells of the Nightly Curfew ring across the city. There's a faint hum from the phone this time before the icon appears. This time it displays a time: 1:00AM
The rest of the night is normal. Perhaps you've cuddled up with family, or you've gone to bed early to wait, but sure enough, time tick by right until 1 in the morning when....
You're back into that application again. A single question before you're even permitted to type anything else. And while it seems to be overwritten by something inside of you, it feels a lot more natural than before. Which is, truthfully...troubling.
Once you are done, you are tossed once more into the main chatroom. Now your user names are the names that you wrote down in the last survey, but with all those questions it's....hard not to think of them as your own. Maybe you'll be cursing at this device, but it looks like you're already deep down the rabbit hole by now.
[OOC: This is the final network post before Awakening. Users will now be able to speak of who they are in their AU life without the information being blocked by the application.
Additionally, while they will not get any new on their own, speaking with Luci might grant the Awakened more memories...be careful that they don't get more than they bargained for.]

WELCOME TO THE FINAL QUIZ!
Answer from the heart, the part of you that has been denied for far too long.
Is your life here a lie?
Yes | Definitely | Sure | I've had my doubts before, but yes | Hell Yes | There is no other conclusion | I wish I could deny it and live here peacefully but it's true.
Thank you...that will be all. Let us see what your heart blooms into...

Lenka Utsugi ⚔ Eligor
I wish I could deny it and live here peacefully but it's true.
[He's come to expect this to happen to his Saturdays, and what does that say about this app that it can bust into his routine like that while completely cutting off any kind of ties to his offline life? Haruka spends a lot longer just staring at this question -- did he type it? Does he agree with it? He remembers moving his fingers this time, with crystal clarity and purpose. His head feels a little foggy still, but that may be from sleep.
Some part of him has answered the question, but it feels much more like the question itself was his answer.]
i remember answering this time. but it doesn't feel like an answer.
does this mean they were memories after all?

[... he was right. All locks and bets are off, and it's out of simple precaution that he hasn't just called out John by name at this point. He's gone ahead and recklessly aired his own to the network, but his friends' identities aren't his to give. It's somehow more reassuring to confirm it anyway. Even at this point.]
my visions weren't peaceful. none of them really were. were yours?
Jaune Arc ⚔ Eligor
The vivid memories have been okay...I mean the first one felt a little ominous I guess. I was really worried about this girl...like I just knew something bad was going to happen to her. I guess I'm still bothered by those answers from the last survey...about killing something or somethings? I just get this feeling that is part of it...and then this answer...I dunno

[They do warn you about strangers on the internet, after all, though it's hard to tell if you're supposed to apply common sense to possibly supernatural apps where everyone's united by mindscrew questionnaires. Questions for the ages.]
i've killed things in the visions. memories. i don't know what they were. [either what he was seeing or what he killed, honestly, everything is kind of up in the air at this point] but i think i know what the app wants now.
Jaune Arc ⚔ Eligor
[John can be a bit TOO trusting, but that can be a good thing sometimes...and even if he hates that his friends are involved, it makes him feel better too.]
Wait...you do?
no subject
[And while having fellow Eligors willing to team up with him had been encouraging, it's even more heartening to know John is one of them. If they both have to deal with something like this, at least they've got each other's back. At least he knows that much.]
and i suspected, before. but luci confirmed it. what it wants is for us to believe the memories and what it tells us.
no subject
Well...I don't know about trusting Luci...but these memories...
I dunno. I want to think they're just a hallucination or mass dream or something, but they feel too real for that. But if they are real what does that mean about all of THIS?
no subject
[Only semi-serious. Most people who only know either of them in passing would have pegged them as polar opposites. But their similarities show where it counts, don't they?]
i wouldn't trust luci. but it's somewhere to start. and i think we need to find out what the visions mean, beyond what the app tells us.
[It really doesn't sit well with him to only have the app for reference, with how crazy the whole thing is.]

[What had Luci said? That this was related to the murders. While he's not suggesting they go chasing murderers, per se, there must be some more information there.]

[He doesn't expect much...he isn't sure where to start]
no subject
[It's a start, at least. And he should use the school libraries a bit more, anyway, it might help him get some studying done on the side in the midst of all this. John is obviously welcome to tag along, since he gives the location; two heads are always better than one.]
