7 DAYS REMAIN
Seven days remain. As the last day of the festival draws to a close, the only thing of interest to note for the week is how great everything has gone. Not a single attack has been reported...
But things have already been set alight inside the hearts of those chosen few who have received the app on their phones. For some, it's just the first bite of the apple. For others, it's been like shaking down an entire tree. Things are beginning to look...strange. Surely there are more burning questions on their minds by now.
The warning bells of the Nightly Curfew ring across the city. There's a faint hum from the phone this time before the icon appears. This time it displays a time: 1:00AM
The rest of the night is normal. Perhaps you've cuddled up with family, or you've gone to bed early to wait, but sure enough, time tick by right until 1 in the morning when....
You're back into that application again. A single question before you're even permitted to type anything else. And while it seems to be overwritten by something inside of you, it feels a lot more natural than before. Which is, truthfully...troubling.
Once you are done, you are tossed once more into the main chatroom. Now your user names are the names that you wrote down in the last survey, but with all those questions it's....hard not to think of them as your own. Maybe you'll be cursing at this device, but it looks like you're already deep down the rabbit hole by now.
[OOC: This is the final network post before Awakening. Users will now be able to speak of who they are in their AU life without the information being blocked by the application.
Additionally, while they will not get any new on their own, speaking with Luci might grant the Awakened more memories...be careful that they don't get more than they bargained for.]

WELCOME TO THE FINAL QUIZ!
Answer from the heart, the part of you that has been denied for far too long.
Is your life here a lie?
Yes | Definitely | Sure | I've had my doubts before, but yes | Hell Yes | There is no other conclusion | I wish I could deny it and live here peacefully but it's true.
Thank you...that will be all. Let us see what your heart blooms into...

Jun Kurosu ⚔ Shax
I wish I could deny it and live here peacefully but it's true.
[Yikes. Not at all where all his theorizing pointed him. Unless they're being slowly brainwashed into lives that are lies, or...something. He's not about to believe that this isn't his life. As right as the answer feels, he knows with his head that it's preposterous.
Feelings, the heart, they're known to do all kinds of things that make no sense. Right? He's...going to set that little internal conflict aside for now.]
What, no vision this time?
Alucard ⚔ Marchosias
Jun Kurosu ⚔ Shax
I refuse to believe that Romulus isn't my brother, that's just absurd.
Alucard ⚔ Marchosias
I apologize. This entire thing just has my brain confused that I'm jumping at shadows now.
Jun Kurosu ⚔ Shax
I get it. I'm pretty worked up, too.

What else could you be?

I can't imagine what kind of budget something like this must have to begin with, though.
[What's a pricetag, he's rich.]

I was literally a talking motorcycle in one
so much budget for the sweet bike jumps and explosions
no subject
Talking motorcycle is pretty weird, though. Could you drive yourself?
[That's totally what we should be focusing on, here.]
no subject
and yeah I could drive myself but I needed a rider to do the thing for my ultimate finishing attack, apparently
no subject
Nonsensical, but cool.

Lenka Utsugi ⚔ Eligor
[Not when a single question was enough. He's seen enough to recognize how they've been railroaded onto this path and into this question -- like sheep -- without being aware of their destination. Quite apart from heart part of him is recoiling out of sheer contrariness.]
Jun Kurosu ⚔ Shax
I'm not buying whatever it's selling. Even if I could be fooled, my brother's been by my side my entire life. They'd have to be tricking both of us; there's very little we've experienced separately.
[Rommy is his brother. Nothing and no one will take that from him.]
no subject
[Because he can say that, now that all filters are off and they no longer have to walk the line between their offline lives and the way the app has crawled into them and set up shop, and their attempts to communicate with each other here.]
both of you... so your family is in this, too. that's real.
no subject
Yeah. We're twins. I don't know if it would be more or less comforting if he weren't part of this.
[On the one hand, Rommy wouldn't be involved in whatever this mess is, and Lonán knows he'd still be there for him. On the other, it would be so alien and bizarre to have something he couldn't share with his brother.]
no subject
what's done is done. i know some people involved in this, too. [though he wouldn't know what it's like, to have a sibling you shared everything with, would he?] it... makes it easier to tell what to believe in.
[That's the thing: even should he doubt the facts of his life, he won't doubt the people close to him. That's important no matter what.]
no subject
It does. I might be going crazy, but Rommy will always be there. He's real.
[...Wait. Um. That's different.]

Eikichi Mishina ⚔ Beleth
[ what is he even supposed to believe anymore? ]
everyone's answerin in the same way ... i seriously don't get this
Re: Eikichi Mishina ⚔ Beleth
I really don't like the implications.
[It gets more and more uncomfortable.]
no subject
i don't want to believe any of this shit but...
[ he felt it, didn't he? ]
no subject
Hang in there, alright? Give in and the app wins.
no subject
anyway yeah i'll try. it's all i can do
i guess we're all in this together as it is, so that's something right?
no subject
Yeah. None of us are alone in this. Whatever is happening in a week is going to happen to a few dozen people, by the looks of things. That's a small army.
