7 DAYS REMAIN
Seven days remain. As the last day of the festival draws to a close, the only thing of interest to note for the week is how great everything has gone. Not a single attack has been reported...
But things have already been set alight inside the hearts of those chosen few who have received the app on their phones. For some, it's just the first bite of the apple. For others, it's been like shaking down an entire tree. Things are beginning to look...strange. Surely there are more burning questions on their minds by now.
The warning bells of the Nightly Curfew ring across the city. There's a faint hum from the phone this time before the icon appears. This time it displays a time: 1:00AM
The rest of the night is normal. Perhaps you've cuddled up with family, or you've gone to bed early to wait, but sure enough, time tick by right until 1 in the morning when....
You're back into that application again. A single question before you're even permitted to type anything else. And while it seems to be overwritten by something inside of you, it feels a lot more natural than before. Which is, truthfully...troubling.
Once you are done, you are tossed once more into the main chatroom. Now your user names are the names that you wrote down in the last survey, but with all those questions it's....hard not to think of them as your own. Maybe you'll be cursing at this device, but it looks like you're already deep down the rabbit hole by now.
[OOC: This is the final network post before Awakening. Users will now be able to speak of who they are in their AU life without the information being blocked by the application.
Additionally, while they will not get any new on their own, speaking with Luci might grant the Awakened more memories...be careful that they don't get more than they bargained for.]

WELCOME TO THE FINAL QUIZ!
Answer from the heart, the part of you that has been denied for far too long.
Is your life here a lie?
Yes | Definitely | Sure | I've had my doubts before, but yes | Hell Yes | There is no other conclusion | I wish I could deny it and live here peacefully but it's true.
Thank you...that will be all. Let us see what your heart blooms into...

action all the way
So he kind of maybe startles pretty bad when Romulus sits on him.]
...I'm okay. [No, he isn't.] It's all lies, remember? We don't have any other brothers and I'm not interested in killing anyone.
[They've talked about this. He's reaffirming it to himself as much as he's trying to reassure his brother.]
no subject
[ Rommy's not moving though, back resting against wall as he crosses his legs to get more comfortable ]
It's just more bullshit than it usually is, the piece of shit. You see the crap it was saying about me?
no subject
[At least, for him. It's okay, they'll be okay. Next week... He'll think about that next week.]
At least there's no freaky hallucination this time. Three's too many already.
no subject
[ He gives his phone a mistrustful glare before continuing ]
What did you see last week?
[ He hadn't asked at the time, because-
He wasn't sure. Some combination of apprehension and not wanting to break the spell of the festival. ]
no subject
Some man with sunglasses and a small mustache said..something about the end of the world and escaped on a jetpack and took a bunch of robots with him, I set three people after him....but there were copies, or something, of them there watching, along with another woman. I think there was a dead body, too? I stumbled...the group - the guy I was strangling in the first one was with them, I think two others were, too - they were yelling at...'Jun' to open his eyes. I was confused, and scared and...lost. Like I had no idea who I was.
And then this...bone-chilling voice of something, from somewhere, told me I was Joker and urged me to kill. The others might've been shouting at me not to listen to it, I don't know, but...I listened to it. Joker, or me, or Jun, or whoever it was....wanted to kill, and didn't really care about who.
[Describing it now, it sounds utterly absurd. He knows that on an intellectual level. But the memory of it still comes with apprehension and visceral fear. The confusion, the identity crisis, they lingered on after it was over. That's what had him so badly shaken.]
no subject
Shit, that's-
[ All incredibly fucked up ]
A jetpack? Robots? And whoever made this app expects you to believe this crap?
[ It's hypocritical, considering how real his own memories of monsters and death felt- feel, but he's willing to be hypocritical, if it convinces his twin.
Besides, there was just something so natural about the creature standing at his back, that is missing from Lonan's words about men in sunglasses with rocketpacks ]
Besides, it isn't even keeping straight what your name there's supposed to be.

[He shrugs. That's all he's got. It had messed with him so badly, even if it sounds like something out of a bad movie in hindsight.]
And it was utter mood whiplash with the other one from last week.
[Yeah. There was another.]
no subject
Wait.
What? ]
Other memory? Lonny, how many of those did you get?
no subject
...It was strange. Not upsetting, and bizarrely mundane, especially in comparison to the first two. And I wasn't even looking at my phone at the time.
no subject
[ Oops. ]
Yeah, I just got the three. Sorry, sounded like you got four or something.
[ It's not the first time he'd misinterpreted something, and it wouldn't be the last. ]
no subject
[Seems there are triggers other than the app.]
...The third, for me, was...there was a little boy offering me a watch. I think I remember bridal gowns in the window we'd been looking through... Something about the two of us being the same, so I should have his treasure, too.
[Honestly it was cute as hell.]
At least it breaks the murder theme.
no subject
[ Rommy frowned, considering, before offering his own memory. ]
It's weird, mine was of that fake brother again.
We were standing in this dark room, I think, and he was in the only spot of light. He told me I needed to choose, so I told him I was going back, and walked away from him and back into the dark room. Next thing I know, I'm lying on the ground in the middle of someone's bush while the pompador guy and some kids yell at a guy in a business suit.
[ He snorts a laugh, shaking his head. ]
Weird, right? Like I'd died or something.
no subject
[All of these have felt so extremely real, more like memories than anything. More like memories than he's comfortable with.]
no subject
[ The memories have all felt off, in hindsight. The world feels different in them, like there's more of him than there is here.
It makes Rommy feel like there's something missing, so he tries not to think about it. ]
Still, at least it wasn't anything too bad.
[ Except for those monsters, which- he still hasn't mentioned to Lonan. Huh.
He should, Rommy realizes, probably do that. ]
Most of those memories sound like dreams, though. There's always these weird monster things standing next to people.
no subject
[That's already more fantastical than LonĂ¡n's robots and jetpacks.]
no subject
[ He frowns, scratching his head and trying to remember ]
The guy in the suit had some purple guy standing behind him with no mouth and cat ears. One of the kids had this little floating green and white man, and the guy with the pompadour had this pick and white guy with hearts all over it.
[ A shrug, fully awareof how dumb it sounds now ]
no subject
[Really...colorful and strange robots, in Rommy's case.]
Any...clowns? I think I was dressed as a clown, in the first two...
no subject
[ Very, very weird monsters.
It takes Rommy a second to realize the important piece of information his twin has just dropped. ]
...wait, you didn't mention being dressed like a clown.
