0 Days Remain
After the vision, and realizing that they still have an hour before the curfew, a message shows up on their program...
Luci: Finally! Human minds can be so fragile...
Luci: You saw it, right? What do you think?
Luci: Does it make you angry or terrified?
Luci: I don't really care but if you answered yes to either of those, good!
Luci: I've got presents for you, lambs.
Luci: Once an apple falls from the tree, it's hard to stop gravity.
Luci: They will try.
Luci: Already a few of you didn't make it.
Luci: But you are all stronger than you look! Amazing, I know.
Luci: SO LISTEN UP! See that dot on the map?

Luci: No? Maybe arrows will help?

That's where you saw that vision.
Luci: It's just about twenty minutes away from the central part of Green Valley's fancy-ass school. You know the 'World Famous' apple orchards out in the back? The very first subway station?
Luci: If you want to know more about what you saw and any other questions that might be burning in your mind, I suggest you hop into the underground city subway and wait until midnight strikes then sneak out to it. Don't think the city will care for less than fifty people going there anyway. Staying after darkness is normal anyway, right?
Luci: When we get there, you'll get a brand new message.

"Not yet"? Is that really all we have to go on here? Is there at least something you can answer, like "how long has this been going on"?
You probably can't. Or rather, even if you could, you probably wouldn't tell us anyways, because "We have to begin our own true journey" where we risk our lives jumping into something that we don't know anything about!
[Okay, yes, she may be freaking out right now.]
Cagliostro ⚔ Haagenti (+ action threadjack)
i don't want to go up in flames but what else can we do, right
[There's a short, blonde girl standing opposite to Isabella, furiously typing into her phone.] and FUCK this crowded subway, everyone's rushing to get back home and here we are going to die
if i run into anything weird on the way there i'm going to stab it okay fuck this
answers are important but my life >>> this shit

...Yeah, it takes her several minutes to finally try and... walk towards Ryann before just... curling up as best she can. Because subways are the worst.]
no subject
Yeah. Yeah.]
You too?
[She flashes the phone screen at Isabella.] Easy on the bags, by the way. I have... fragile stuff.
no subject
Eh...? Really? You have it too, then?
[Okay, let's try to focus on talking... And stay away from the bags, thank you very much for the warning.]
Then, what do you think this is all about? Do you think this is all...
[..."Serious?" That's not the right way to word it. People are dying, so this isn't something people should joke about. Of course it's serious... "Real", then? That's not the right word either...]
...This?

Ryann sighs. Just a tired, loud sigh, that gets drowned in the whizz of the subway.] It's a bunch of bullshit. But hell, I'm curious.
[That's the heart of her involvement in this. She WANTS to know. This whole experience-- 'magical' would make it sound positive, but it's certainly something. Something else. Something no one else can give her.]
There's something this Luci guy wants us to find out. And well, he's got it. I want to know. Whether we're all gonna die, or whether it's dangerous... whatever. I can't live without seeing what it is.
You know what I mean?
no subject
[She thinks she does, at least. At the very least, it felt like Luci was trying to say something, and all the hints seemed to imply it was something dangerous, something that was going to come for them eventually, so it was better to find out what it was sooner, rather than later...
But when that vision came, when she saw those shadow things, there was something inside of her that said, 'this is what I'm here for'. Some part of her that, with one look at them, thought 'ah, that's what we need to kill'. Never at any point did not fighting ever occur to her... Why was it that this just occurred to her now? Why was it that, she didn't even stop to think about any of this? She didn't know. She didn't know why she was here, she didn't know what she was getting into, she didn't know why she couldn't just leave things alone...]
I... don't know...
no subject
['We're all equally lost', is what she's trying to say.] But here we are. Going off into the unknown. Like what mankind has always feared, but also sought. I guess it's an adventure.
[The subway stops. It's their station.] Oi, stick close. People at this fucking hour are the worst, they push and shove everywhere.
no subject
["Stick close" means hold on to part of your clothes like a lost child, right? Because that is totally what Isabella is doing to Ryann's clothes right now, yes.
At least she stops shaking once they leave the subway, tough she still looks very uncomfortable inside the station.]
no subject
Well... at least there's no one here. [That makes things kinda worse.] For now, anyway. I'm heading to the entrance. Come along with me. It's not safe to go alone in a place like this.
[And:]
Also, you're excused from having to go to tuition tomorrow. I don't think I'll be up for it, either.
