I'm going to assume that a day is enough for us to recover well enough over everything, so there are a few things I want to address now that the app has been secured again.

First of all, since it's troublesome only speaking on the app and we never know when it might be compromised again, I made a code for us to use in reference to each other. It's not completely finished but it should give you an idea of what I'm going for. I'm open to any other suggestions on what to add to it. Different demons have been assigned different flowers. Combatants and Navigators can be distinguished by where they "grow".

Secondly, we need a place to meet up in real life. A few times in the past, the first round has used my dorm, but that isn't sustainable especially since other Awakened are and can be adults. I suggest a school-funded cafe project. Those of us attending Green Valley can use various excuses as an extracuricular activity focusing on economics, cooking, or whatever else. Adults could act as supervisors. Someone is free to mention a better idea.

Finally, I think we should start investigating figures of significance in Eddan and preparing to dispose of them if they turn out to have anything to do with our current situation.

I agree with Kudo. Stopping a dangerous person need not involve becoming a murderer.

Should we discover that there is someone here behind this, we confront them and work to stop them. Killing them is going way too far.

There's always ways to non-lethally disable someone. I doubt we could rely on a court system the way things are now, but even with that drawback, there's got to be a way to handle this.

Did you know that we're not the first group here? How long this has been going on, I don't know. Either only Luci is the last person remaining from an earlier group, or he's something else. He's the one to ask about this, either way.

What I do know is, this seems to be a cycle. Are you certain that killing won't simply serve to perpetuate it? That the main force behind this can be killed by normal weapons? What if anyone we could find could be as easily replaced as we can be? Even if it was so easily solved by killing someone, can you say with confidence that no one would have tried already? We must first get answers on our situation before we can begin to speculate on solutions.

...Murder is never a solution. But in this case it could just as easily be a way to lose any chance of getting answers from our enemies.

My world - my worlds, really - was being threatened by someone who I had grown up with. Someone I had cared about. Someone who I trusted. Do you think that I and his brother didn't try to talk sense into him? Do you think that his sister wanted us to kill him? Do you think my sister wanted that, either?

But it was the only solution to keep everyone safe.

Life isn't pretty. It's not neat. Not everyone can be saved. Not everyone will give you answers. And not everyone can be stopped through anything short of murder.

I'm not saying you're the one who has to do it. I'm saying it's something that might have to happen after we try everything else.

The place I am from is like this one, where prisons are a way to stop people who will not stop. I have to believe that there's always a way around this ... option. It's true that not everyone is willing to give answers, but just finding out that someone can be involved is an answer in itself. They may reveal things without intending to.

It's true that I could never do this. But I don't want anyone else to do this, either. I can't accept the thought that there could be a time when there's no alternative to killing someone.

It doesn't matter right now anyway. We don't know what's doing this. If it's something like the Great Eye, then they might not even have a body to capture or attack unless we trigger something specific, anyway.

Yeah. That's my suspicion. That if there is anyone that could be dealt with through conventional measures, they're not what is really behind this, and at most such people would be involved lower down. If what they're using can't be hurt by normal weapons, it's likely they can't either.
