Likely many of us have at least attempted to look up the meaning behind the names we were first given when this app showed up. Some of us likely looked up the meaning of names from those we had struck up conversations with.
I was no exception and after verifying from what little resource is available I've resigned myself to the puns and jokes that will appear once the meaning of Marchosias is known by most of us on here, doubly so in regards to such due to the fact it seems those bearing this name are the most numerous here.
And to pull the metaphorical band aide off this as quickly as possible.
Marchosias apparently is some entity that some new age circles call to for help with loyalty, and is mostly depicted as a winged wolf.
Please deposit your jokes and puns here so it's out of your systems before the suppose reveal of information happening in five days.
[If anyone was walking about or also using one of the many outdoor tables on the lawns of Green Valley. You may have stumbled upon Christopher gently face planting in resignation on the tabletop he's currently sitting at, before he types rapidly on his phone. Mere moments after the applenet app buzzes with this new post. You may also notice an occult magazine open near said boy's elbow opened to a small article about said entity and some hyper stylized wolf with angel wings dominating the page next to it.]

... the macros? the ones about losing russian roulette.
[It's too bad they still can't send images because he's the worst at describing memes, we're gomens.]

Anyway this has nothing to do with that, but I found out something about Eligor. I looked it up after hearing about marchiosas to see if it's also referenced anyway. It's a grand duke of hell, and it's got three different names. Eligos, Eligor and Abigor.

I hate spelling that thing out

[And so far he likes it better than the fake name the program gave him, even if he can't exactly find it in himself to dislike that name, either. For some reason.]
i didn't find the different names for eligor. but it's funny that there's 3... did you want to use them?
[They're really going to rack up a list of nicknames at this rate if they keep going.]

can't we just call them wolves?
[He hates spelling it out too, honestly. His autocorrect keeps turning it into shit like 'Martha'.]

Thinking about it I like the numbers better. We got to pick them freely.

[Since it is kind of interesting that there's exactly three.]

While I'm at it, I should go look up other names here too. I'm curious if they mean anything.

[Not a discouragement, but he does feel like a warning would help.]

Maybe that's why there's repeats. They ran out of demon names or something.

[He could try pinging Luci, but he has the distinct feeling that it wouldn't do anything or get any questions answered. Even if he kind of wants to ask about his name.]
