I'm going to assume that a day is enough for us to recover well enough over everything, so there are a few things I want to address now that the app has been secured again.

First of all, since it's troublesome only speaking on the app and we never know when it might be compromised again, I made a code for us to use in reference to each other. It's not completely finished but it should give you an idea of what I'm going for. I'm open to any other suggestions on what to add to it. Different demons have been assigned different flowers. Combatants and Navigators can be distinguished by where they "grow".

Secondly, we need a place to meet up in real life. A few times in the past, the first round has used my dorm, but that isn't sustainable especially since other Awakened are and can be adults. I suggest a school-funded cafe project. Those of us attending Green Valley can use various excuses as an extracuricular activity focusing on economics, cooking, or whatever else. Adults could act as supervisors. Someone is free to mention a better idea.

Finally, I think we should start investigating figures of significance in Eddan and preparing to dispose of them if they turn out to have anything to do with our current situation.

For a lot of reasons! One, you can't just kill people; it's murder. Two, you don't know that any officials have anything to do with this, so you can't point the finger unfairly. We don't know if anyone in power has anything to do with this; you can't make the assumption -- not to mention you could miss other evidence. Three, if people aren't supposed to know about us, how do you think a trail of police reacting to murders is going to help?

Four, again, you can't just kill people. Especially when it just makes it more convenient for you. How does that make you any better than them?

[Ciro has been around her mothe-- well, not her real mother, but it doesn't matter. Is he dangerous? The thought is twisting her stomach. Most people don't just consider murder as a casual option.]

Ignoring the rest of what you said for now, there is such a thing as justified homicide. If someone is torturing or plans to kill you, you're allowed to retaliate for your own life.

There is no such thing as justified homicide. There are reasons that people may try to kill. If someone is attacking you, you're allowed to defend yourself. But there is nothing that justifies taking a life.

And even apart from that, you're not talking about defending yourself. You're talking about preemptively attacking someone for something they might do. Where is the justification in that?

That is not defense. Defense is protecting yourself from an attack with a reasonable level of force. This is not a reasonable level of force.

This is vigilantism.

Do you even have proof that these people are involved? Do you know which of them are involved? How sure are you that you completely understand the situation?

I agree with Kudo. Stopping a dangerous person need not involve becoming a murderer.

Should we discover that there is someone here behind this, we confront them and work to stop them. Killing them is going way too far.

There's always ways to non-lethally disable someone. I doubt we could rely on a court system the way things are now, but even with that drawback, there's got to be a way to handle this.

You don't know any of that. And you can't just ignore the rest.

Don't tell me you'd really actually consider this.

The rest is inconsequential to the main point of the discussion. If we can't agree on the main point, then there's no point in discussing the rest.

I don't see what the problem is. If someone has been found to contribute to this situation we're in, it's saving our lives to take care of it.

It's not inconsequential at all when you're talking about killing someone! You asked why -- that's why.

You don't know that. And there are a lot of other ways to deal with it even if it does end up being true -- a lot of other ways other than killing anyone.
